“I love learning and I love supporting and encouraging children and other adults to learn and grow in a nurturing environment. I believe that learning is an active process for both adults and children alike. Big and little people all benefit from an inviting and engaging environment, respectful and caring relationships, and having their strengths, interests, culture and ideas being recognized and appreciated. I believe that children actively co-construct their learning and that learning happens not just inside the mind but in and through all senses, with many different expressions, through social relationships and within the context of family and culture.”
